U okviru projekta ATTRACT (Activate Tourism Training Resources for accessibles Cities and Towns) partnerstva iz programa za cjeloživotno učenje Leonardo da Vinci Turističko-ugostiteljska škola Antona Štifanića organizira 12. i 13. rujna četvrti po redu stručni skup u Poreču. Tema projekta je dostupnost turističkih odredišta skupinama i posjetiteljima s posebnim potrebama, a zadaća je razmjena primjera dobre prakse. Na skupu će pored naše škole sudjelovati još šest partnerskih institucija i to Federalberghi Trieste, koordinator cjelokupnog projekta i Consulmarc Sviluppo Trieste iz Italije, Hallam university, Sheffield Business School iz Velike Britanije, EFXINI POLI, Local Authorities Network for Social, Cultural, Tourist, Environmental and Agricultural Development, Athens iz Grčke, Technical School Centre Nova Gorica iz Slovenije i Universidad politecnica de Madrid, Life and Supporting Technologies iz Španjolske. Predavači dolaze iz naše škole (Vilma Bednar i Ljiljana Badrov Frleta), te iz Turističke zajednice Istarske županije, Turističke zajednice Grada Poreča, Turističke zajednice Vrsara i Grada Poreča. Stručni skup održat će se na dvjema lokacijama, u Villi Polesini i Gradskoj vijećnici. Projekt je financiran iz programa za cjeloživotno učenje „Leonardo da Vinci" namijenjenog strukovnom obrazovanju, a cilj mu je osnaživanje stručnih kompetencija nastavnika hotelijersko-turističke skupine predmeta. Nakon početnog sastanka u Trstu u prosincu 2010. godine održani su još skupovi u veljači i u svibnju 2011. u Sheffieldu i u Madridu.
